Femme Fatales Finally Finished!

Greetings all.

After procrastinating for far too long, I finished up the last group of Daemonettes:

I went with a pale grey skin tone (the same as my Be'lakor) for this little lot. Here's the obligatory group shot:

I'm well pleased with how all the skin tones work together, and also differentiate the units at the same time. I'm glad to have finished this little lot, and very chuffed with the results! Now, onto some scumbag cultists...

Comments welcome!

Femme Fatales: Second Daemonettes Finished!

Greetings all.

Been a while since I posted, and it's just a quick one tonight. However... I have managed to get some good work done! Been powering through my daemonettes and got the second unit finished:

I kept the same colour scheme for the most part, but changed the skin tone so I could differentiate between the units. I'll be repeating this for the third (and *possibly* final) unit. I'll take a group shot of the lot once they're all done.

Hope you like em, comments are welcome!

Femme Fatales: First Daemonettes Finished

Greetings all.

Got a bit more work done over the last few days, and finished off my first unit of Daemonettes (first of three). These lovely ladies are such wonderful (and creepy) models, but they sure are fiddly as hell to paint! I'm very pleased with how they came out though, and I'm currently grinding through the next unit.

Comments are very welcome as usual!

Femme Fatales: Daemonettes painting queue

Greetings all.

Just a quick post to let you know what I'm working on at the moment. I've got three units of the original daemonettes on my table. I'm probably not going to get through them all right now, but I decided to basecoat them all anyway:

As you can see there is a different skin tone for each unit. Often I will designate different units of the same type of daemon by using different generations of the models. With these lovely ladies I just couldn't bring myself to do it since I love the originals so much. So I decided the best way would be to split them up based on skin colour (please don't quote that out of context... I could run the risk of being misconstrued...). Hair, claws and accessories will probably end up being the same colours in each unit, just to tie them all together.

More soon!
