Greetings all.
Work continues at a fairly steady pace with my Khorne Daemonkin. Finished off a unit of eight gribbly old school Bloodletters:
These guys are proper gangly and weird, but definitely have the "Realm of Chaos" vibe about them.
Through a delightful twist of fate, finishing these guys puts my painted total for the year to date at 88 models completed. Khorne will be most pleased!
Comments welcome!
Vey nice mate, and same for your last post too - the hoard grows and grows! I do like the old Bloodletters - I know the new ones are nice, crisp & clean, but I love these bonkers old sculpts :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks brother! These guys are some of the weirdest sculpts ever but I love them!
DeleteFantastic absolutely fantastic.
ReplyDeleteDude at some point you have to do a last stand grey knights versus the swarms of daemons you have complete with animosity, the whole 9 yards!
Thanks man, you're too kind! Haha I just need to find an old school grey knight player now!
DeleteI have some knocking about somewhere and I live in Royston...just saying.
DeleteHaha I think arrangements need to be made!
DeleteI belive you may know my brother Snicket, his palce is in Dunstable/Luton so nicely placed between us. I'll see if I can prod him into hosting a game, he's just become a dad so I may have to prod quite hard to wake him up.
DeleteOh yeh man, I totally forgot you two were bros! Yeh that's not far from me at all (Hemel), so we could make that work :)
DeleteGlorious! Wonderfully characterful models and you've certainly done them justice.
ReplyDeleteThanks man :)
DeleteYou really excel at Khorne, I salute you.
ReplyDeleteMy own, unpainted Khorne army has the current plastics but in my opinion they have elements of these minis, it's not often I really like the newer stuff but the Bloodletters are an exception.
Nice one dude, cheers!
DeleteYeh the current plastics definitely have hints of the olden days about them, I think they did a great job on them (actually I rather like all of the current daemon plastics).
