The slow progress of 2020 continues. It's definitely slow, but it's also definitely progress, and that's good enough for me. A lot of people have found themselves with plenty of time on their hands to clear their painting backlogs recently. Unfortunately working for the NHS means that I don't have that "good fortune", but I'm still working away on my leadpile as and when I can.
This week I finally managed to finish up this duo of sports wizards for Blood Bowl. I decided to do a good and evil wizard to serve my good and evil teams. One of them bears a striking resemblance to a certain incompetent evil overlord.
I know everyone does it, but I still couldn't resist |
Keeping with the Blood Bowl theme (it's totally my jam these days), I painted up another Orc Thrower. I now have three throwers, despite the fact that they're a 0-2 choice, and they're objectively the worst player on the Orc team (my current team doesn't even have one). I didn't say it made sense, I just said I painted it ;)
That's all from me for now. Hopefully have something to show again fairly soon, as I'm still splashing a little paint on my Renegades. In the meantime, keep safe and keep well in these "interesting" times.
Love a bit of blood bowl. How did you do the name plates on the wizard's Bases?
ReplyDeleteHaha I really must post about that because I get asked all the time! I picked up a whole bunch of scale modelling letters and numbers (3mm) from Slaters plasticard to do my BB bases. It’s fiddly as hell trying to stick them on straight, but I think it’s worth it.
DeleteHaha love the Skeletor!
ReplyDeleteThanks man! It’s totally overdone by anyone who paints this model, but I still couldn’t resist!
